Townsville Hospital and Health Service are seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant to join the team within the Respiratory and Sleep Unit at the Townsville University Hospital on a permanent full-time basis. The Respiratory and Sleep Unit (RSU) located on Level 1, specializing in the diagnosis, investigation and management of respiratory and sleep disorders; the Tuberculosis Control Unit for the HHS and supports other health services when needed. |

- Salary range: $5081.10 to $5516.60 p.f. (NG7)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity:
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) demonstrates expert clinical knowledge and advanced clinical problem-solving skills and is accountable for their own clinical practice.
The CNC provides support to develop, facilitate, implement and evaluate care management for patients with complex health needs and to provide expert clinical advice to carers and other health care professionals within the speciality of Respiratory and Sleep.
Role Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (AHPRA).
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including criminal history clearance.
