Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $216,643 to $274,678 p.a. (L18-L27)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The role of the Staff Specialist (Gastroenterology) is to provide high quality clinical and non clinical services, including teaching within a robust Basic Physician Training (BPT) environment and medical student education, to benefit patients and clients of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS).
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Specialist Registration: You will hold gastroentology specialist registration (or be eligible to hold) with AHPRA. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
- Travel: this position may require the incumbent to work at other facilities within/without the THHS.
- Highly regarded: An intrinsic ability to both directly supervise and mentor junior medical staff.
