Townsville University Hospital are seeking an experienced and client focused Allied Health Assistant to join the friendly Podiatry team. |
About this role
About the opportunity
This position contributes to patient care by providing administrative and clinical assistance to Allied Health professionals (AHP) in their day-to-day clinical duties. Works under the supervision and direction of the AHP and undertakes only those clinical tasks delegated to them.
Please note: This is a temporary full-time position, commencing 22/06/2026 - 31/03/2027.
Role requirements
- While not mandatory, a Certificate IV – Allied Health Assistant would be well regarded. Evidence of any qualifications must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of duties.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.

- Salary range: $2624.50 - $2759.10 p.f. (CA3)
- 4 weeks annual leave (pro rata) with 17.5% loading
- Locality allowance
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
