About your opportunity
This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help the Townsville Hospital and Health Service identify potentially suitable applicants for future Adminstrative Officer Casual opportunities.
If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Clinical Talent Pool for a period of 6 months and you will be contacted further by the Surgical Service Group at the time an opportunity arises. Further participation in other recruitment selection processes (for example written application and/or interview) to further assess suitability for appointment to a specific position may be required. Specialty skills will be assessed to determine eligibility for available positions.
Administrative Officers provide a frontline administrative support and booking service for all patients, ensuring the efficient utilisation of booking time available for Consultants and Clinicians. Provide a high level of customer service, demonstrating understanding, empathy, patience and a positive attitude.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $40.22 to $46.91 p.h. (AO2)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Highly regarded: Excellent data entry with high level attention to detail to ensure quality of data and high standards of work.
- Highly regarded: Experience in providing administrative and booking support in Health or similar industry.
- Highly regarded: Highly organised with engaging interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
