About your opportunity
This role will work directly with the Outreach Immunisation Nurse, Communicable Disease Control (CDC) Teams and other vaccine service providers to identify, locate and catch up hard to reach Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who are identified as overdue for immunisation.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $77,342 to $106,358 p.a. (HWF3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Certificate III in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (PHC), higher and or willing to obtain Certificate IV. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification, including any necessary endorsements, and evidence of 12 months experience as a Health Worker to be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
- Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
- Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position. This position requires the incumbent to hold a current Blue Card.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
