- Base salary range: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. (HP4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
In this role, you will provide family‑centred coordination and integration of care for paediatric and adult patients diagnosed with significant permanent hearing loss, and their families. You will deliver psychosocial support and counselling to patients and families referred for audiology rehabilitation.
The position works within the Audiology Rehabilitation Program, including the Cochlear Implant Service, assisting patients and families throughout their care journey.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of specialised Social Work services within a clinical setting for patients with hearing loss.
Requirements:
- The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Social Work that provides eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment.
