About your opportunity

The Clinical Nurse Facilitator for PACU combines expert post operative nursing care with clinical education, mentoring staff and guiding nurses through hands-on and theoretical recovery room competencies. The role actively guides, orientates, mentors and provides support to PACU graduate nurses, students and new and current staff.

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

• Salary range: $114,532 to $122,643 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
• Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

• Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
• Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
• Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
• On-call: Appointees may be required to participate in an on-call roster.
• Highly desirable: Demonstrated and current experience performing the role of a PACU nurse as per ACORN with at least 3 years post graduate experience.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
